Wittner fine tuner nickel string adjuster violin

February 13, 2011

Wittner fine tuner is still one of my favourite fine tuner. I've compared to many of the ones made in China and India but the wittner fine tuner does not move side to side. It stays in place more easily than the other fine tuners. I now put them on most of my old violins.

Recently, I've come across an equally nice fine tuner. They call it the Titanium or Mberg style fine tuner. It is very lightweight. I've put them on some of my old violins and they change the tone a little. I might explore this a little more.

I've been introduced to the factory who make the Titanium fine tuner and I'm now collecting orders from my resellers. They need 500pcs for a single order so I've created a page just for it. If you want to know more about this, read my page on it.
